Please Read The “Puppy Purchase Agreement” For More Details & Information
All sales are conducted in accordance with the C & S Sale Policy, regardless of whether the buyer has read it or not. By inquiring about or purchasing a English Springer Spaniel from C & S Farms, you are agreeing to comply with the policy in its entirety.
GENERAL
All our puppies are sold to approved homes only. To help us better understand your family and the need for an English Springer Spaniel puppy, we ask that you fill out a puppy application. Find it Here
We reserve the right to refuse any sale for any reason without explanation.
All puppies are sold with a spay /neuter contract.
All shipping, delivery, and related expenses are the buyer's responsibility.
All puppies will have a docked tail and declaws removed.
All warranties listed in the contract apply to the original buyer only (the person signing the contract) and are not transferrable.
Puppy is sold solely as a pet and companion to the person signing the contract and their immediate family (those living in the home with them). The puppy's suitability for any additional use/purpose depends solely on the environment and training provided by the buyer.
If, for any reason, Puppy Buyer can no longer care for the puppy, C & S Farms shall be given the first opportunity to resume ownership, however, C & S Farms is not required to accept the puppy. If C & S Farms resumes ownership the puppy will be returned with all of its registration paperwork and health records.
C & S Farms is not responsible for any future veterinarian bills, health care bills, obedience bills, etc., after the puppy leaves our property.
All puppies are sold with Limited AKC registration (puppies cannot produce a litter of their own).
All sales are FINAL, unless it is reversed by C & S Farms. There will be no refunds or exchanges on canceled sales made by the buyer.
All puppies are $2,000.00
To secure your place on the waitlist, a nonrefundable reservation fee of $100.00 is required. Upon the birth of a litter, a nonrefundable litter deposit of $500.00 is required to reserve a spot for that specific litter. Priority in litter picks is determined by the order of litter deposits received. Prior to accepting your deposit, we kindly ask that you complete a puppy application and undergo an interview process. All deposits are transferrable to any of our future litters. Payments must be made in US dollars and can be submitted via personal check, cashier’s checks, or Venmo. Credit card and debit card payments are also accepted, with an associated fee.
No puppy will leave our possession until they are paid for in full.
Puppies are not allowed to leave until 8 weeks of age.
Puppies are generally expected to be picked up at 8 weeks of age, though C & S may determine that additional time is necessary for their well-being, or upon mutual agreement. If the buyer cannot pick up the puppy during the 8th week and there was not prior mutual agreement, a boarding fee of $50.00 a day will be applied until the puppy is collected. However, if C & S Farms determines that additional time is necessary for the puppy's well-being, no boarding fee will be charged for the extended stay.
We will not sell to anyone under the age of 18 without a parent or guardian's consent. If you are under the age of 18 have a parent or guardian, contact us.
GUARANTEES
C & S certifies that, upon Puppy Buyer’s receipt, the puppy is in good health, has been given their first set of vaccinations, has been wormed and has had a health check by a licensed veterinarian. C & S will provide health and vaccination records to Puppy Buyer.
Should the purchased puppy be diagnosed with an illness within three days (72 hours) from the time of pickup, the Buyer can return the puppy at the Buyer’s expense for a full refund. C & S Farms must be notified immediately following diagnosis. Documentation must be provided by licensed veterinarian and will be reviewed by C & S Farm’s veterinarian for concurrence. Buyer must return the puppy within 7 days of notifying C & S Farms of the puppy’s illness accompanied by all pertinent registration documents and health records. All costs associated with the return of the puppy shall be the responsibility of the Buyer. C & S Farms does not accept responsibility for contagious diseases diagnosed after three days from date of pick up. Although we have done everything we can to prevent these things, parasites, coccidian, and giardia are common problems in animals, especially young puppies, and can be treated; therefore, these are excluded from this guarantee.
Limited 2 Year Genetic Health Guarantee: This Guarantee covers genetic health conditions that significantly impair the quality of life of the Dog and are directly attributable to genetic factors. It excludes conditions resulting from accidents, injuries, neglect, or any other non-genetic factors. The Guarantee is effective for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase of the Dog. C & S guarantees that, at the time of sale, the Dog is in good health, has received appropriate veterinary care, and is free from known genetic defects that could affect its health or quality of life. Owner agrees to provide proper care, nutrition, and veterinary attention to the Dog throughout the Guarantee period and must maintain regular veterinary check-ups and vaccinations. Should a genetic issue be identified and documented in writing by the Buyer's veterinarian during examination, the Buyer has the option to return the puppy at their own expense for a full refund. Alternatively, if the genetic issue is deemed repairable and the Buyer chooses to proceed with the necessary measures, C & S Farms will reimburse the Buyer up to the cost of the puppy. Any additional expenses incurred will be the sole responsibility of the Buyer.
Limitations of this agreement include conditions under which the guarantee will be VOID, such as: the Dog is or has been obese, the Dog was spayed or neutered before reaching 18 months of age, the Dog was bred, the Dog was fed an improper diet or received inadequate nutrition, the Dog was neglected or mistreated, the Owner failed to provide proper veterinary care or vaccinations as recommended by a licensed veterinarian, the Owner failed to promptly notify C & S Farms of any potential genetic health issues, the Dog was rehomed or transferred to another owner without the consent of C & S Farms, and the Dog is diagnosed with a genetic health issue after the expiration of the 2-year guarantee period.
PICK UP
All buyers are required to sign a copy of the purchase agreement before the puppy can leave C & S Farms.
Pick-up dates will be established when the puppies reach 6 weeks of age, unless special arrangements are needed and mutually agreed upon by C & S Farms and the Buyer.
All puppies will go home with appropriate AKC paperwork, health certification from licensed veterinarian, a blanket or toy with the scent of their littermates and mother, as well as a small bag of transition food.
