We are excited that you are considering one of our rabbits for your home! At C & S Farms, we have developed a Rabbit Placement Process to ensure that each of our rabbits find the perfect home. This process involves getting to know potential owners, understanding their needs and lifestyles, and providing them with all the information necessary to make an informed decision. We take great pride in raising our rabbits with love and dedication, and we want to ensure that they transition smoothly into their new homes. Our goal is to create lasting, happy relationships between our rabbits and their new families.
1. Submit an Application
There is no fee required to do so nor does this commit you to purchasing a rabbit from us. The application can be found by pressing the button below. We ask many questions to help us provide the best homes for our rabbits, as well as determine which rabbit and/or breed will be a good fit for your family. We will contact you within 7 days of completed application via email, phone call, or text.
2. Reservation Fee
Once your application is approved, we will notify you to place your $50.00 reservation fee. Payments in US dollars can be made via cashier’s check, Venmo (with a fee of 1.9% + 30 cents), PayPal (with a fee of 2.9% + 30 cents), or debit/credit card (with a fee of 3.9% + 30 cents per transaction). Upon receipt of your payment, you will be officially added to the reservation list. This is also known as the waitlist. Please note that your name will not be placed on the list without the non-refundable reservation fee. This $50.00 fee will secure your place in line and will be applied toward the total purchase price of your rabbit.
3. Notification
If you are reserving a rabbit before the breeding occurs, we will contact you with an approximate due date and notify you when the kits are born. You will receive details about the litter, including the number of kits, and any unique characteristics or markings. This information allows you to start thinking about which rabbit if any, might be the best match for your family.
4. Final Deposit
Once you have selected the rabbit of your choice a 50% nonrefundable deposit is required. It is 50% of the total price of the rabbit. If there is no deposit placed the rabbit is still considered "available." After the deposit is place, the remaining amount is due before or during pick up. Payments must be made in US dollars and can be submitted via personal check, cashier’s check, or Venmo. Credit card and debit card payments are also accepted, with an associated fee. Should you decide not to choose a rabbit you may choose to remain on the waitlist for a future litter. All deposits will be applied toward the total purchase price of the rabbit.

6. Rabbit Pick Up
Pick-up dates will be established when the rabbit reaches 6 weeks of age, unless special arrangements are needed and mutually agreed upon by C & S Farms and the Buyer.
5. Choosing a Rabbit
Rabbit selection is determined by the order in which Reservation Fees were received, in other words your position on the waitlist. Around 4-5 weeks of age, each rabbit undergoes an evaluation to determine its price. This price is based on the quality of the rabbit according to the breed's standard of perfection. Once the price is set by C & S, we will begin contacting individuals on the waitlist to start the selection process.
